Weather It can snow on the Berg every time of the year so pack some warm items of clothing no matter what season it is when you plan to visit us.

Shopping The nearest shopping centre is Underberg, but there is a well stocked store within easy walking distance of Lake Naverone.

Restaurants There are two restaurants and a golf course within five minutes drive.

Setting and access Lake Naverone is situated on a 450ha estate in the upper Umzimkulu River valley, and is surrounded on three sides by the 200 000ha Drakensberg Park wilderness area, administered by the KZN Conservation Services. We are 30km from Underberg, on a tarred road, and have a well maintained 1000m airstrip with a lock-up hanger available for hire.

Extra costs Apart from your accommodation, the only extra costs you might incur are for horse riding and for trout taken for the table.
